Crispy Baked Orange Tofu
Dr. Adame uses a lot of tofu in her cooking. Tofu is a clean, high-quality protein that is versatile and lends itself to making very tasty dishes. This dish is approved by even the most devoted meat eaters.
She used Nora Cooks Crispy Baked Orange Tofu recipe with some slight modifications:
She used maple syrup for the sauce, no sugar
She added a little bit of olive oil AND soy sauce to the corn starch for the tofu
She added asparagus and green onions to the tofu. (Broccoli is the best veggie for this dish, but there was no broccoli as the Farmer’s Market yet).
Served with rice, lime juice, and h/e/m/P seeds.

Dr. Adame encourages any degree of progression towards high-protein, high-fiber, anti-inflammatory nourishment to reduce inflammation, protect the brain long term, and improve gut-brain health connection.
